TVET Authority has won the coveted Civil Service Eajaadhee Award (Innovation Award) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) of the Maldives. The award was presented to winners in a ceremony held at Dharubaaruge on 12 May, 2015. The Civil Service Eajaadhee Award is given to winners every two years.

TVET Authority won the CSC’s Silver Eajaadhee Award for strengthening the service delivery system and enhancing the services provided. This silver award was the highest award given in this year. It was handed over by former President of the Maldives Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan.

According to CSC, the purpose of the Eajaadhee Award is to acknowledge and recognize innovative initiatives carried out by government offices to improve and strengthen the services provided. The award is, therefore, given to encourage innovative initiatives by the Maldives civil service sector to improve and speed up the services as well as to provide cost effective services to public.
