Today, MNSDA and Association of Maldivian Indigenous Medical Practitioners (AMIMP) officially signed an MoU to develop National Occupational Competency Standards in Maldivian indigenous medicine and related fields. This partnership marks a remarkable step forward in strengthening, professionalising, and preserving the tradition of Maldivian indigenous medicine.

With these standards in place, we move closer to structured training and formal certification for practitioners across the Maldives.
