NEWSROOMMoU Signed between Ministry of Education, Ministry of Tourism and GA. Viligili and Kolamaafushi Councils

As an effort to strengthen TVET trainings, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Ministry of Education, Ministry of Tourism and 2 councils of GA. Viligili and GA. Kolamaafushi on 2nd June, 2016. The ceremony was held at Seminar room of Customs Building.

Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham signed the MoU On behalf of Ministry of Education and on behalf of Ministry of Tourism, Minister Mr. Moosa Zameer signed the MoU. On behalf of councils, Council President Mr. Niyaz Nizar signed from Viligili, and Council President Mr. Ahmed Jameel signed from Kolamaafushi.

This particular MoU was signed between concerned parties to work together to train as many as 1500 students in tourism related TVET programs from the area. MP of Viligili constituency Mr. Saud Hussain played a crucial role in securing this MoU.
