NEWSROOMMoU Signed between TVET Authority and Maldives Post Limited

A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the TVET Authority and the Maldives Post Limited on 29 March, 2016 at Postal Building, Male’. Dr. Abdul Hanna Waheed, CEO, signed on behalf of TVET Authority, and Assistant Managing Director Hafeeza Ibrahim signed on behalf of Maldives post Limited.

This MoU will pave way for better cooperation between the two organisations in conducting TVET related trainings. MOU will facilitate internship opportunities at Maldives Post Limited for TVET trainees in their internship to gain vocational skills experience, which is a core focus of TVET trainings. The current batch of 7 Dhsavaaru students from 5 Male’ schools in Office Administration, are accepted to start their internships as early as April.

In the signing ceremony, DMD … of Maldives Post Limited announced that students will get an allowance during their internship. The 7 students who were present in the ceremony were quite pleased to hear that they have a realistic opportunity of securing jobs at Maldives Post Limited if they successfully complete the program.
