In celebration of World Youth Skills Day, the MEERY Project and the Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA) joined forces to host an enlightening webinar. The event, held on 15th July 2024, aimed to empower young individuals with essential skills for sustainable development.

The webinar, titled “Empowering Youth: Skills for Sustainable Development,” featured a distinguished panel of experts. Among them were:

1. Shakeeba Ali, Director General of MNSDA
2. Naail Abdul Rahman, Chair of the ICT Sector Council
3. Hathim Ibrahim, Entrepreneur
4. Ibrahim Nihad, Tourism Industry Expert

These thought leaders engaged in insightful discussions, emphasising the importance of skill development in shaping a prosperous future. Their collective expertise spanned various sectors, providing a holistic view of the challenges and opportunities faced by today’s youth.
