- Ocean Warriors was conceived as an Ideal, a Dream, a Mission, to inspire a new generation of Maldivians to become advocates for the ocean, to take the lead in protecting our Marine Nation - to be aware, informed, and empowered to act. The Ocean Warriors Institute is a place of teaching and learning dedicated to developing professionals of the highest standards in areas related to the ocean and marine environment, focusing on the marine sciences, conservation studies, diving, watersports, swimming, surfing, fishing, lifeguard, hospitality and first-aid training. Our Mission is to reconnect the youth of today with the sea, their heritage - to develop environmental awareness and encourage the pursuit of studies beyond the confines of the classroom. As our Motto states, everything we do is about Inspiring a New Generation of Ocean Warriors.
